Dave made the ‘Digital H’ tape for me and included TOC and Let’s Clap (see the line drawn on the case – I think those tracks were not from the vibes session).
Jef adds:Â This was recorded in Dorcestor with Dave’s reel 4 track. Â It was a one off session and we never played in this configuration again. Â As usual the songs were written the night before. Â The last two tracks are just Dave and Glenn, and I’m guessing it’s Dave on trumpet and Glenn on alto sax, and possibly both on flutes. Â Missing from this tape is RX54 by GZ.

Ken [Lubinsky] and I went to Newton in July 2008 to help the Cawthons clear out Dave’s house. Justin also stopped by and I told him that I would take the recordings to be ripped and circulated. The only original tape he wanted that day was this recording.
He and Dave had [recorded over a] Steely Dan tape to record some rock ideas. Justin made me a copy and took the original because he wanted to continue working with the material. He said it was recorded around 2000. Justin is currently playing bass in a band called Man Alive!

Jef writes: Sdadety is one of the “winter 95/96″ tapes [Vol. II]. Â The cover and title were made by Glenn and is a one of a kind. Â Recorded at the box factory. Â There are still a few other selections from the winter tapes that aren’t on here or the acoustic/electric (Maurice) demo.
