Spent the last day and a half prepping for floor insulation.  The trick is to hang 10-1\/4&#8243; fiberglass insulation in between floor joists that are 7-1\/4&#8243; deep.  No points for squishing it.  Think my method will work, tomorrow&#8217;s weather may postpone the confirmation.
